What is a SOC 2 Type 2 Report?
A Service Organization Control (SOC) Type 2 report is issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). SOC Type 2 reports are based on rigorous examinations that assess the design, operational effectiveness, and efficiency of security controls over a specified period of time. Modyo’s audit conducted by an independent certified public accountant (CPA) analyzed and demonstrated our organization's strict controls across four Trust Services Criteria areas:
Security: to protect information from unauthorized access, assessing controls related to network security, logical access, authentication, encryption, and incident response.
Availability: to provide reliable, ready access to information systems for customers related to infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, backup procedures, and business continuity.
Integrity: to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of the information processed, transmitted or stored by ensuring its consistency throughout the life cycle process.
Confidentiality: to address sensitive information protection from unauthorized access, related to access controls, handling procedures, and confidentiality agreements.
