This significant milestone underscores our commitment to implementing robust cloud security measures and marks an important advancement in our infosec and cybersecurity journey.
The CSA STAR certification specifically evaluates the infrastructure and security practices applied in cloud computing environments, which makes it a particularly relevant benchmark for companies whose services are developed on cloud platforms. Achieving the Silver level in our first assessment represents a significant milestone that demonstrates the maturity and robustness of our information security management model, positioning Modyo among the leading providers in the industry in terms of cloud security.

This latest certification adds to and strengthens our security compliance framework, which includes the recent upgrade to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and our continued compliance with SOC 2 Type II. While ISO27001 establishes a comprehensive information security management system, SOC 2 assesses the operational effectiveness of the controls in place over defined periods, providing our customers with additional assurance backed by rigorous and internationally recognized assessment methodologies.
Looking to the future, we’re preparing to further strengthen our security posture through ISO27701 certification, focusing specifically on privacy and personal data protection controls. This initiative is aligned with the evolution of our product roadmap—particularly solutions such as Modyo Origination, which may involve the processing of personal data-ensuring compliance with GDPR and various regional data protection regulations.
