Aurus together with the support of the Economic Development Agency of the Chilean Government invests in Modyo to expand in Latin America and Europe.

Modyo SpA www.modyo.com, an enterprise software and services company working with leading companies and brands in Latin America and Europe has just received a venture capital investment from Aurus www.aurus.cl.

The first round of investment will enable Modyo to add valuable international human capital in Chile, Brazil and Spain while establishing offices in addition to Santiago, Chile in both Sao Paulo, Brazil and Barcelona, Spain.

Modyo’s journey began four years ago when a unique team of young engineers joined internet, marketing and media veterans Mark Bonnell and Pablo Cordova. Joel Peterson, a Stanford professor and Chairman of Jet Blue airlines together with Naoshi Matsumoto and Carlos Hurtado provided the initial investment support to help develop Modyo.

Modyo’s platform enables organizations with a new way to build engagement web sites and mobile sites faster, richer and smarter. The purpose of the platform is to help organizations, capture, understand and engage digital customers by providing a platform that makes content and online interactions with customers more relevant. Modyo works with leading companies such as Puma.com for Latin America, Nestle, TVN, Entel and VTR, all leaders in their industries.
